Finland – Poland 3:0
Polish volleyball team has lost for the second time with Finland in Tampare. Their chances to get the second place behind Brazil in their group are getting very slim. It means that they will probably not qualify for the World League finals in Belgrade.
Radosław Panas told Gazeta.pl that the bad loss to Finland was a result of rebuilding of the team. “Those guys just started to play together two months ago, so we cannot expect them to play at the same level as Finns, who have the same stabilized squad for couple of years now”. He also added that not qualifying to the Finals in Belgrade will not be a tragedy. “We try to prepare this team for mayor tournaments as European Championship or Olympic Games and this League is just a part of preparation program”.
Nevertheless supporters slowly start to miss Raul Lozano, the former national team coach, who won second place with the team in world’s championship.
