Zbigniew Zapasiewicz is dead
Zbigniew Zapasiewicz has died yesterday. He was one of the best Polish actors, directors and teachers. He would have been 75 in September.
He was known as a perfectionist. He became famous after playing in Krzysztof Zanussi films. He played in "Behind the wall"(Za ścianą), "Camouflage colors" (Barwy ochronne), "Contact" (Kontakt), and "Life as a mortal sexually transmitted disease" (Życie jako śmiertelna choroba przenoszona drogą płciową).
He also stared in "Without an anascetic" (Bez znieczelunie) by Andrzej Wajda and in "Mother of kings"(Matka królów) and "Baryton" by Janusz Zatorski.
In 1856 he finished PWST (Public Theater University), where he became a professor in 1987. Earlier in years 1969-1971 he was a dean of Actors Department. In years 1981-1984 he was a dean of directors department.
