Polish documentary series awarded in Italy
The documentary called "Three pals" (Trzech kumpli) directed by Ewa Stankiewicz and Anna Ferens has won the first award for documentary TV series during RomaFictionFest festival.
This series shows an extraordinary friendship from Communist times in Poland of Stanisław Pyjas, Lesław Maleszka i Bronisław Wildstein. The jury has justified the award saying that this series "joined classic film language with documentary form and showed the truth about the past and present".
