Adamek will fight with the legend
Polish IBF champion – Tomasz Adamek will fight with the legend of world boxing – Bernard Hopkins. Kathy Duva who is a director of “Main Events” confirmed that the fight would take place for sure.
Hopkins was represented by Richard Schaeffer – main director of “Golden Boy Promotions”. “Richard, Tomek and my TV have reached a satisfying agreement. Everyone is happy because it is really good offer for both boxers. Now we are waiting for Hopkins’ decision, because only he may stop this fight. But i do believe he will not do it, because there is too much money to lose. Besides that both Adamek and Hopkins want to prove their dominance” – said Duva.
“I would like to end two careers, of Andrew Golota and Bernard Hopkins and I promise I will do it. I have to win with Golota because HBO asked me to it. Next I can challenge Hopkins who is 45 years old. I am younger, faster and stronger. It will be one of the most important years in my whole life” – said Adamek.
We do not know the date of fight but it will be announced very soon.
