It is possible to pay with text messages for parking
For parking time in city centers of Warsaw, Gdynia and Włocławk it is possible to pay with sms for some time. This Monday Czestochowa also joined this group of cities.
Sms need to be sent to 82002 phone number. First one should have "cze" as its content. This one starts a meter that will deduce money from a prepaid account of a phone owner. After coming back to the car, the owner should send a second sms with "K" in its content. This one will stop the meter and will generate another message that confirms parking time and shows account balance.
This system seems to be handy as car owners do not have to predict the exact parking time and will have to pay a fee just for the real time they parked. The system will also automatically stop deducing money when the zone is free of charge, for example during holidays or in the night.
