Agnieszka Radwańska won a close game against Italian Roberta Vinci 2:6, 6:2, 7:6 (7-5) in the opening round of WTA Challenger in New Haven, USA.
Polish star will play against not so well known Virginie Razzano from France, who is obviously on form at the moment as she managed to win with Swiss star Patty Schnyder 6:3, 3:6, 6:3.
The tournament in New Haven has a prize fund of 600 thousand US dollars.
