Poland in plus
Poland is the only European Union country, which economy is still growing. It is above economists expectations, especially in industrial building sector, which has been expanding with 4.5 per cent rate.
The growth of our economy used to be 0.8 per cent after 6 months and specialists predicted it will sink to 0.5 per cent level. However the reality is much better. The economy is zooming through the crisis with 1.1 per cent increase.
Other two economies that grew in the first quarter of this year (Greece and Cyprus) have shrunk in the second quarter of the year by 0.2 and 0.7 per cent respectably.
The highest growth in Poland have been seen in industrial building sector (4.5 per cent) and services (+2.8 per cent). However investment in our country was lower by -2.9 per cent and internal demand was lower by 2 per cent.
