Polish volleyball team start European Championship

Polish volleyball team will play against France today as their opening of European Tournament in Turkey. Although our team could not use best players, who are injured, but still have high hopes.
"Our goal is to be in the top 4 of this tournament. Everything else will be treated as defeat" - said Daniel Castellani, Argentinean coach of Polish volleyball team.
Poles, who are in Turkey since Monday, had drawn a good group to start this championship. The team will play against: France, Germany and Turkey, and later on there is a possibility to play against Slovenia or Slovakia. More demanding opposition including Spain, Russia, Italy and Serbia will play in Istanbul, which means that Poland can meet them not sooner than in semi-finals..
