Cultural Lodz
This year Festival of Dialogue of four Cultures 2009 which starts next Saturday will be very interesting for all because of prepared attractions. Whole week of music concerts, projections of films and multicultural exhibitions should attract every guest of the festival.
On e of the most interesting event of the festival should be Krystain Lupa’s spectacle – “Factory 2” about New York in Andy Warhol’s day. Jan Klata will present “The Promised Land by StanisÅ‚aw Reymont”, which seems to be best known novel about Lodz. Jossi Wieler from Munchner Kammerspiele will show “The Angel of Death” inspired by Austrian Nobel Prize winner – Elfriede Jelinek.
Also fans of cinema may feel satisfied, because of best films of Ari Folman, like “Made in Israel” or “The material that love is made of”. Folman is one of most popular directors and film set designers in Israel. There will also be many fantastic concerts, commemorating the liquidation of ghetto in Lodz. There can be heard concerts of Kacani Orkestar, Bohemian Orchestra from Macedonian city Koczani.
