Polish football team lost in Slovenia
Our national football team can only dream about next World Cup in Republic of South Africa. Poland was demolished yesterday by Slovenia 0-3.
Dutch coach of Polish team – Leo Beenhakker started this important game only with one striker – Paweł Borożek. Everyone advised him to play with two strikers what was more effective for the team. But Beenhakker was very stubborn. Poland played one of the worst matches within last several years. No one had idea to do something in order to score. Artur Boruc made mistake when we lost first goal, Jacek Krzynówek was slow and could not pass any precise ball, Roger Guereirro may come back to Brazil while Michał Żewłakow is too old.
Slovenian team played very well and scored three goals: Zlatko Dedic, Milvoje Novaković and Valter Birsa. One of the best player of the team was Andraz Kirm who plays for Wisla Cracow.
This defeat means that we will not qualify for the next championship tournament in Republic of South Africa. It also means that Leo Beenhakker will lose his job very soon, what actually was confirmed by Grzgorz Lato – chair of Polish Football Association.
