Stefan Majewski not accepted by supporters
New coach of Polish national football team – Stefan Majewski is not accepted by supporters. According to them he is not qualified to be a coach of the national team.
Stefan Majewski was dismissed from Amica Wronki and Cracovia Cracow because of poor form of his teams. What is more, most players did not like him because he was sharp and unkind for the players. Polish fans are afraid that the same situation will occur with the national team.
These are comments written on onet.pl (one of the best Polish Internet portals):
“Stefan Majewski??? He is not good enough to be a coach of a league team so I cannot understand Lato’s (chairman of Polish Football Association) decision”.
“We do know that Stefan Majewski is a friend of Grzegorz Lato and this is one and only reason he became a coach of our national team”.
“Stefan Majewski has not achieved anything in his career. The coach of the national team should be experienced and qualified, while Majewski is not. Moreover he is impolite and not too modest”.
So as we can see, Majewski will have really hard life in Poland, so he must prove that he deserves this position. As Grzegorz Lato said his choice is temporary and the name of a new coach will be known within one month, but it is also possible that Majewski will stay...
