After couple of good performances of BMW Sauber, team’s supporters had big appetites before Italian GP at Monza Circuit. Unfortunately BMW engines filed both Nick Heidfeld and Robert Kubica.

Both BMW drivers made it through 1st qualifying session, however Robet Kubica had 14th time, so supporters had to wait until the very end to be sure he was through.

During the second qualifying session Nick Heidfeld was out just after one lap. He had an engine failure. Two minutes later Robert Kubica had the same problem, and Mario Theissen, boss of BMW team, could take his notes and head back to the garage. Kubica was classified at 13th position. Another surprise was just 14th result of Giancarlo Fisichella, who transferred form Force India to Ferrari last week.

Third qualifying session was very exciting as leaders changed every couple of seconds. At the end the session was won by: Lewis Hamilton from McLaren-Mercedes second was Arian Sutil form Force India and Kimmi Raikkonen was second.

The race starts at 2 p.m. tommorow.
