Polish volleyball players and old wives’ tales

Daniel PliÅ„ski does not shave during the whole tournament, Jakub Jarosz listens to the same songs while Piotr Gacek does his activities in the same order – these are only few rituals of Polish volleyball players which should help them to win the championship title.
The most superstitious is Daniel PliÅ„ski whose beard is longer every next day of the tournament. Polish volleyball team is on a winning streak (seventeen wins in a row including six wins during this tournament). “So we are trying to do everything in the same order, for example our warm-up. Nothing is changed because we thing it brings lucky” – explained Jakub Jarosz.
