Religion and art of the New Stone Age – “The culture of Cucuteni” – it is an exhibition opened on the 16th of September 2009 in Warsaw, held under the patronage of the ambassador of Romania – Gheorge Predescu and the Marshall of mazowieckie voivodship – Adam Struzik.

The main goal of the exhibition is to show all collection of items presenting development of ancient, especially Neolithic civilizations that lived on Earth 5 thousand years ago. The exhibition show unique and priceless items collected in Romania and Moldova. Unusual civilization called Cucuteni had been living in East-West part of Europe for more than thousand years. They left many magnificent and characteristic things like: pottery decorated with geometric figures, ribbons or anthropomorphic images.
