"Reverse" will fight for Oscar Award!
The film was given all possible awards during the 34th Polish Fiction Film’s Festival in Gdynia. The film is a fiction debut of Borys Lankosz that was nominated for US Academy Oscar Award in Non English Language Film category.
“Reverse” is described as a cartoon, black criminal or Polish “Amelie” in black and white. How will it be seen on the other side of the Atlantic? We will find out in the beginning of spring. All official nominees in 24 categories will be known on 2nd February. However shortlisted Non English Language Films will be revealed couple of days earlier. The Academy verdict will be known on 7th March 2010.
“Reverse” has broken all popularity records in Gdynia. It did not only get awards, including Golden Lions, but also was screened during additional sessions, so that all interested people could see it.
