The oldest cinema in the world that is still in use is placed in Szczecin, Poland. It celebrates its 100th birthday right now.

As a part of celebrations three days of film projections, along with special play prepared by Polish Theater Artists, and a special photo and poster exhibition.

"Pionier" is a tiny cinema that could held audience of 160 people at the beginning and now has a capacity of 80 people only. It is estimated that more than 6 million viewers were able to use this cinema.
"Pionier" is a cinema that promotes artistic and ambitious cinema. In 2005 it was declared the oldest running cinema in the world and was given a certificate by Guinness World Record. Also in 2005 the cinema became a part of Europa Cinemas (exclusive cinemas) and Studio Cinemas.
