Fast Internet? Not in Poland, as most of users want the economy access, which means 1 megabit. No wonder then that Polish Internet is slower than the EU average. Only Cyprus has worse quality of Internet than us.

As a rule, clients, who sign their first deal, want to try the cheapest, which means the slowest access.
Netia, the second biggest Internet provider in Poland after Telekomunikacja Polska SA, had to lower the number of predicted broadband Internet clients in 2009 from 525 thousands to 510 thousands. Today they have 488 thousands of broadband Internet users.

According to the European Commission 83 per cent of broadband Internet users in Poland have a connection that is slower than 2 Mb/s. This situation is only worse in Cyprus. 60,8 per cent of EU Internet connections have the speed of 2 to 10 Mb/s.
