Last Tuesday one of most peculiar religious celebrations of Jews has started. Jews have to leave in special tents to celebrate their escape from Egypt. Chabad Lubawicz community built one in front of Golden Terrace shopping center.

Also a mobile tent was prepared. It travels all around the country. " You shall live in tents for seven days (...) so your generation knows that I ordered Jewish people to live in them when they were scaping land of Egypt" - says Tora about Sukut.

This tradition obliges all men to live in a tent for a week. Women can also join, but they have no such duty.

One day before Sukot unmarried women light one candle and married women light as many candles as they have children.

Sukot is respected especially by orthodox Jews.
