“The trip to the end of the night” is this year motto of Ars Cameralis Festival 2009. The event will be started on the 6th November in Katowice with interesting concert of film music by Spanish artist – Roque Banos played by the Cameral Orchestra from Tychy AUKSO, under the baton of Marek Moś.

There will be many fantastic stars in Katowice this year, like well known American bands: Grizzly Bear and Yo La Tengo. Grizzly Bear is famous for combining many styles, while Yo La Tengo is one of most popular indie rock music groups. According to Polish fans it can the biggest event in Poland this year.

The schedule of the festival is filled with folk, jazz and alternative music from all over the world. There will also be many other interesting attractions like plastic, film, theatre and literary events. The biggest star of this part of the festival will certainly be David Lynch presenting his photos and films. Oskaras Korsunovas Theatre from Vilnius will be the special guest while Philippe Jaroussky who is believed to be one of the best nowadays singers, will give his concert. The festival will take place in Katowice and other main cities of the region.
