Polish Rally Championships
Friday and Saturday should have been very interesting for every enthusiast of rally because of 19th edition of famous Lower Silesian Rally, which was the last qualification of Polish rally of this season. Bryan Bouffier (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX) tried to defend the championship title but second Tomasz Kuchar (Peugeot 207 S2000) could have been very dangerous.
After five rounds, Bryan Bouffier wass the leader (the best in 2007 and 2008) with 123 points. Second place wass taken by Polish driver – Toamsz Kuchar (Peugeot 207 S2000) with 120 points while Leszek Kuzaj was third with 102 points. Kuzaj has won very important Orlen Rally what gave him third place.
Buffier was a leader but his advantage was smaller because of new rules of Polish championships. According to them the final result consists of 5 five best eliminations what means that Buffier will not get 15 points from Rzeszów Rally.
The race was very interesting and surprising because of the winnr - Kajetan Kajetanowicz (Subaru Impreza WRC). The chamipion is Bouffier and it is his third title of Polish Rally Championschips.Tomasz Kuchar who had chance to defeat the Frenchman, had problems with his car.
