According to the daily “Handelsblatt”, German government will support Opel but only when all factories will get the same support from the countries where the factories are situated.

It means that 4.5 billion euro should come from several countries, including Poland. The information has been taken from high-ranked officials of German government. According to the daily it is not the best information for Opel and for example Poland just one week before selling Opel to Austrian-Canadian consortium Magna and Russian Sibierbank. The agreement should be signed next week. This decision may cause many problems for Opel and its new owners – assessed “Handelsblatt”.

German government promised 4.5 billion euro as a financial support for Opel and 1.5 million euro have already been paid as a temporary credit. But since several weeks Germans started asking for international (Belgium, Spain, Poland, Great Britain, Austria and Hungary) help for Opel.
