Parishioners kicked out their parish priest
“He drinks alcohol every day. He is vulgar for everyone and he does not care about our church” – these are main charges against the parish priest from Parciaki village in Mazovia region. Parishioners tried to solve the problem many times but were not able to do that. So they decided to take matter into their own hands. They removed him from their church and changed all locks.
According to “Ostrołęcki Weekly” his last stupid and irresponsible behaviour caused that his cup of bitterness was filled to the brim. The pries demolished a car of a catechist. The parishioners tried to speak about the priest with bishop form Łomża but it was without success. So they decided to solve their problem themselves. 200 people gathered near the church, removed all locks and installed new ones. But the priest was smart and...hid himself in the church. At 9 a.m. he started speaking via the speakers. Unfortunately he was not able to convince his parishioners who kicked his out from the church and took his keys.
Their list of charges against irresponsible priest is very long: alcohol addiction, vulgar behaviour, aggression, refusal of administrating sacraments to sick people, removing the organist, lack of renovations of the church, sleeping during the Mass and many other.
