Polish consortium AMB East and American company IMTC-VTI L.L.C. placed their offer to modernize airport in Lvov. The city is supposed to host part of Euro 2012 football tournament. This information was given on Monday by Ukrainian press agency Ukrinform.

The contractor will be chosen on 4th November. Many firms are competing for this investment as they are going to be able to retain the ownership of newly built terminal.

The estimated cost of Lvov's airport modernization is estimated for 163 million Euro.
Despite promises given by the Ukrainian government that the city is going to be ready for Euro 2012, it is heavily criticized for running behind the schedule. The problem concerns not only the airport, but also the stadium, where a delay at this point of time is two months.
