Auschwitz – a death camp on facebook
Nazi death camp in Auschwitz opened its own account on very popular Internet website – facebook. According to the board of directors, the camp should start being popular among young people and facebook give the best chance for promotion.
Auschwitz death camp is very tragic place which should not be forgotten by anybody. The museum wants to educate all young people and show them the tragedy of killed people. Nobody can omit our real history.
Auschwitz did not inform Polish press and media about its new idea to promote itself via the Internet. BBC was the first television which informed about Auschwitz’s account on one of the most popular portals. Representatives of the museum said that they wanted to start international discussion about the camp and its problems. The profile must help, especially today in the era of computers and Internet.
