Polish football reached the bottom
Polish national team is on 56 place in FIFA ranking what means that Gabon, Burkina Faso or Latvia are ahead of Poland. Poland lost three consecutive games, against: Slovenia (0-3), Czech Republic (0-2) and Slovakia (0-1) and next World Cup Polish players will see on TV.
We are close to break very unpleasant record because our worst place in history was 61. Polish football is on the bottom. Why? First of all Leo Beenhakker had many problems with the best players and Polish football officials. He left in not too good atmosphere. His successor – Stefan Majewski has not been accepted by Polish supporters who boycotted last game against Slovakia. There were only 5 thousand people while the stadium in Chorzów has capacity of 47 thousand. Secondly Polish supporters do not accept the board of directors of Polish Football Association consisted of old and not promising people like: Antoni Piechniczek or Andrzej Streylau. What is more none of Polish clubs play in European cups, eliminated by very weak clubs like Levaadia Tallinn.
As we can see, the situation in our football is not too good what sounds horribly in context of EURO 2012...
