Poles support euthanasia

According to 48% of Polish society, the doctors should fulfil the will of suffering, incurable patients who want to end their life.

39% of us said that it would not be a good idea while 13% could not say anything about it – says the survey made by the Public Opinion Research Centre (CBOS). 61% of Poles think that incurable people who suffer from their disease should have right to decide about their own life. Also their families should have chance to decide about giving painless medicines. 26% are positively sure that it is the best solution. On the other hand, 31% think that nobody can decide about life of incurable people even when their suffering is very painful. 8% were not able to say anything about it.
