Police from Tomaszów Lubelski stopped a driver, who was driving 200 km/h through a village with his Skoda Octavia.

A police patrol from Tomaszów Mazowiecki spotted a car that was racing through a double line to overtake other road users - Ireneusz Stormidło, a spokesperson for Tomaszów Mazowiecki Police headquarters, said. The man was hard to stop as he did not even notice a police car that was chasing him- he added.

28 years old driver was really surprised when he was stopped. He did not realize that he was going so fast. He explained that he was in hurry and that weather conditions were perfect for driving.

He was fined 700 złoty (160 Euros) and 15 penalty points. Polish law states that after collecting 21 penalty points, driver losses his license.
