Europe appreciated Polish documentary film
“Chemistry” by Paweł Łoziński has been awarded Prix Europe Prize in Berlin on Saturday. The best European documentary film tells the story about people suffering from cancer. Polish production competed with 32 other documentary films from different countries.
The film was awarded because it shows positive feelings. “Chemistry” is a reflective story consisted of many interviews with patients from Daily Chemotherapy Unit which was shot within 40 days.
The festival – Prix Europe - has been organizing since 1987 under the patronage of The European Council. The festival is believed to be the most important European film contest of TV and radio productions. This year there were 231 radio, TV and Internet films, programmes and other productions taking part in the contest from 40 countries. All winners have been given gold statues of bull and 6 thousand euro.
