Wooden buildings from the Valley of Biebrza: old fashioned houses, chapels or drying rooms could be most interesting attractions of Biebrzański Tourist Trial of Wooden Architecture. The originator of the trial is dr Artur Gaweł – director of the Museum of Villages in Osowicze.

“The trial would be started in Lipszczany near Polish-Belarusian border and end in Goniądz. 80 kilometres of the trial would lead through Lipsk - famous for its painted eggs, Dąbrowa Białostocka, Stara Kamienna, Chmielowskie Villages, Okopy near SUchowola, Chmielniki, Sztabin, Mogielnice, Dolistowo and Goniądz” – explained Gaweł.

The idea will be discussed with the board of directors of the Biebrzański National Park during November conference (called Wszechnica Biebrzańska). The conference consists of many meetings, workshops and educational symposiums about Podlasie and its culture, history and nature as well.
