Unfortunately, after 2 years heroic fight of parents and doctors, Julia Jabłonowska died in hospital in Wałbrzych. The girl called “Thumbelina” was a proof that every single day of our life is very important.

Julka was born in 22nd week of the pregnancy what made her the smallest child born in Poland in history. She was not bigger than a man’s wrist and weighted only 384 grams. Within first months she was lying in a special incubator under strict doctor’s supervision. The girl had not any formed organ so the doctors did not give her chance to live. But Polish Thumbelina tried to proof that they were wrong. Unfortunately little Julia was not immune to viruses and got diseases very often. The girl was treated in Legnica, Karpacz, Cracow and Wałbrzych. Julia died on the 24th of September in hospital…
