Police can be faster than an ambulance
Polish Policemen arrested four teenagers just two minutes after they assaulted a man. It was possible thanks to monitoring camera system installed in Gorzów.
The incident took place on Saturday night in the center of Gorzów. A young man had been waiting for his night bus on the bus stop at Jagiełły Street, when he was attacked by four teenagers. They hit him and kicked him before stripping him off his wallet and mobile phone.
Offenders were completely unaware that they have been caught by the monitoring camera system that recorded the whole incident. Police operator called his colleagues on the streets immediately giving them location of the incident.
Three Police cars managed to get there in less than two minutes. Two offenders were caught right on the spot, two others tried to flee, but were unsuccessful in their attempt.
According to Sławomir Konieczny from Lubuskie Province Police press office three out of four offenders are 16 years old and the last one is one year younger. They are all known to the Police as they were detained before for similar crime. They are also suspected to mug two other people on Saturday.
If all charges turn out to be true they may be trailed like adults and in this case they are going to face time in jail.
