Franciszek Smuda has announced his new team
Franciszek Smuda who became a coach of Polish football national team has announced his new players who will play against Romania and Canada. There are several surprises.
First of all our new coach gave chance to Tomasz Kuszczak who is substitute player of Manchester United. Polish talented goalkeeper was avoided by previous coaches: Stefan Majewski, Leo Beenhakker and even Paweł Janas. Another goalkeeper will be 19 years old Wojciech Szczęsny from Arsenal London.
Smuda has also called Arkadiusz Glowacki, Michał Żewłakow, Marcin Kowalczyk from Dynamo Moscow and absolute debutant – Maciej Sadlok. Another new – old face is Kamil Kosowski from APOEL Nicosia who is in really good form. His Cypriot team plays in Champions League while Kosowski is a key player.
Franciszek Smuda gave also chance to one of best Polish left wingers – Janusz Gancarczyk from Śłąsk Worcław and talented forward or offensive midfielder – Patryk Małecki from Wisła Cracow.
According to Polish commentators the squad is very good and all players have deserved to play in a shirt with an eagle on their chests. Smuda is supported by Poles what means that they will not boycott next games as it was last month. What is more Smuda seems to be very independent and nobody can advise him what and how to do something. Polish football team should be much stronger with charismatic coach.
