Tusk – Sarkozy pact
Poland and France will announce their initiative connected with European defence. Donald Tusk and Nicolas Sarkozy will appear today evening in the Elysee Palace.
According to commentators, Poland became very important ally of France because Great Britain decided to leave the stage. Well known Polish daily “Gazeta Wyborcza” informed that Polish Prime Minister and French President will inform about new battle units of the European Union, better cooperation between united countries that is connected with natural disasters, European plans of defence.
Polish Prime Minister – Donald Tusk is flying today to Paris in order to take part in Polish-French talks and international consultations. The main point of his visit is to talk about European defence system, the stuffing of the European Union, November summit of the European Union, energy and ecology.
Also Polish Minister of Foreign Affairs – Radosław Sikorski, the Ministry of Infrastructure – Cezary Grabarczyk, the Ministry of Defence – Bogdan Klich, the Ministry of Agriculture – Marek Sawicki, the Ministry of Ecology and the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage – Bogdan Zdrojewski will visit France in order to speak about main problems with their French friends.
Polish and French delegations will sign two important declarations about European politics connected with defence and security and also energy.
