Festival of modern art – “Moving Closer” in Warsaw

French Institute of Culture invites for the festival of modern art – “Moving Closer”. Since November 8th till December 5th Polish capital will be full of enthusiasts of modern art and new forms in art. The schedule of the event contains interesting concerts of electronic and jazz music, video-art presentations, theatre, films shows, modern dance spectacles and interactive installations.

The festival is organized by the Artistic Association “Makata” and Warsaw Town Hall. Most of events connected with the festival will take place in “Cafe Kulturalna” and “Powiększenie”, which in cooperation with the French Institute of Culture, are main partners of “Moving Closer”.

This year edition may be very interesting because of many well known artists, like: worldwide famous compositor and trumpeter – Arve Henriksen who will give a concert with Helge Stenmen (aka. Deathprod), Sylvain Chavueau, violin player – Svante Henryson, compositor of noise and ambient music - Martin Herterich, Russian group – Belki, Carl Michael von Hauswolff who works with light and sound installations, Lean Left from Holland, Anthea Caddy and Thembi Soddell from Australia or Nathan Davis from the USA.
