Ostróda builds a stadium for Euro 2012
Ostróda is a well known tourist place in Masuria. In recent years it was voted the most popular tourist place in Warmia and Masuria. It is no wonder as city council has done everything to make this city tourist friendly. Now it has a chance to host one of visiting football teams during Euro 2012.
The stadium is needed to achieve this goal. It is going to be built at the side of Drwęckie Lake, away from the city center, which gives peace and rest to athletes.
The whole complex is going to cover the area of 7 ha and is going to consist of a stadium for 5004 viewers and a pitch (size 68x105 meters) as well as supporting pitch (90x60 meters). Lights installed at the stadium are going to meet all TV transmission regulations. The nearby building is going to have locker rooms for referees and players, massage room as well as press conference hall.
