Doda did not win MTV Europe Music Awards 2009
Doda was a nominee for The best European artist MTV Music Award. She was hot favorite to this title according to her teenager fans. However the statue went to Turkish band maNga.
Polish singer had to settle for best Polish performer award.
The MTV Europe Music Awards 2009 gala was hosted American singer Katty Perry. It also included performances of such artists as: Beyonce, Jay-Z, Shakira, Green Day, Foo Fighters and Tokyo Hotel, which is a little bit strange as most of those artists are from USA.
