Warmia and Mazury will help Ukraine
Respirators, medical tests which detect influenza and special face masks will be sent to Ukraine (Rivne Oblast) by the authorities of warmińsko-mazueskie voivodship. Also Elbląg decided to help Ukrainian side so there will be sent 15 thousand face masks to Ternopol. The transport will be sent next week.
The epidemic of pig’s flu in Ukraine is the main reason of cancelling I International Festival of TV and Radio Programmes – “Island of Viburnum” which was supposed to take place on 8th – 15th November in warmińsko-mazurskie voivodship.
“We invited 40 journalists from most important media in Ukraine, but today we cannot take such a big risk. We will postpone the event to February or March 2010” – said chair of Association of Ukrainians in Poland.
