Poor debut of Franciszek Smuda
Polish national football team has lost against Romania 0-1 what showed that Franciszek Smuda is not a miracle maker. Poland tried to attack but had no idea how to do that. Sumda must work very hard. Franciszek Smuda said that his team would be fighting till the last whistle, but yesterday game showed something completely different. During the first half, Polish players tired to attack using our wingers: Kuba Błaszczykowski from Borussia Ddrtmund and Kamil Kosowski from APOEL Nicosia. Unfortunately their crosses were not to effective and both Ireneusz Jeleń from AJ Auxerre and Robert Lewandowski form Lech Poznań had no chance to score. Second half was even worse, especially after a goal by Daniel Niculae. Smuda’s substitutions did not help because young wingers: Maicej Rybus from Legia Warsaw and Sławomir Peszko from Lech Poznań had many problems with passing Romanian defenders. But the biggest problem of yesterday game was a pitch full of water what made the game very difficult and dangerous. Next game of our national team should be easier because Canada seems not to be in a good form (0-3 against Macedonia). On the other hand Franciszek Smuda should hard a lot and change our style.
