Nikołaj Wałujew in Warsaw
The boxing World Champion Nikołaj Wałujew and Mosfilm boss Karen Szachnazarow were guests of "Sputnik over Warsaw" film Festival that is going to end this Sunday.
36 years old Wałujew showed his talent not only as a boxer, but also as an actor. He played that leading role in "Stone head" film. He plays there a heavyweight boxing champion, who is called stone head, because he cannot feel pain. After an accident, where his beloved woman dies, he can only remember the last day of his life and forgets it next morning.
In a short interview given just after his arrival to Warsaw Wałujew said: - I had to study the screenplay for a long time to understand the situation of my character. This is a new and challenging experience for me, but it is nothing like a boxing match although in both situations I have to be concentrated and ready for unknown.
