Polish Prime Minister is not sensitive to problems connected with equal rights and discrimination” – explained professor Magdalena Środa.

Representatives of Polish Congress of Women informed on Wednesday about collecting needed signatures for a people’s project of the law about parity. But the meeting showed that Polish women were not satisfied about Donald Tusk and his government. “Donald Tusk is not sensitive to problems connected with equal rights and discrimination” – explained professor Magdalena Śorda, originator of the congress. The main problem of Polish women is Tusk’s plenipotentiary – Elżbieta Radziszewska. “I do believe that Elżbieta Radziszewska is incompetent. I have to mention that previous plenipotentiaries had more meetings during one week than Mrs. Radziszewska during whole year” – said Środa. The congress does not count on Tusk and dismissal of Radziszewska but the vote of no confidence for Radziszewska has been announced.

The most important thing for the congress is new law about parity. “We hope that we will finish the procedure till next local elections. We have 50 thousand signatures, but we need another 50 thousand.” – said Anna Karaszewska who is a member of the congress.
