President of Świdnica about Lower Silesian Politics and Economic Forum
20th anniversary of meeting of German Chancellor – Helmut Kohl and Tadusz Mazowiecki in Krzyżowa gave chance to recollect this meeting. President of Świdnica – Wojciech Murdzek has a good memories of the meeting
– “I remember that everything in Krzyżowa looked miserably, I had an unpleasant feelings about everything. I was a huge contrast for me, because it was an international meeting and on the other hand very uncomfortable place to play host to such an important politicians. I could not even expect that this modest place and meeting would be so important for our history”.
“After those 20 years, we can say that all things go in right way. For example my city – Świdnica has had good relationships with our German friends in Biberach. There are many Polish-German meetings, especially young people want to talk about politics, economics and also about difficult problems connected with our history” – said Murdzek.
Lower Silesian Politics and Economic Forum in Krzyżowa may be a chance in many ways, especially economic. Maybe thanks to the forum there will be more German investors in Poland.
