Witness to John Paul’s II miracle
Cardinal Javier Lozano Barragan revealed that he had been witness of John Paul’s miracle – healing a child by previous pope.
The cardinal said in an interview published by “La Republica” that had seen a miracle of john Paul II during their pilgrimage to Mexico 1990. Everything happened on the 5th of May 1990. “John Paul II was trying to get into his plane when suddenly he was stopped by a woman with her child. As it turned out the child was incurably sick suffering from leukaemia. Karol Wojtyła kneeled down, started praying and kissed the child” – explained Barragan. “After one month this little boy’s father showed me his two pictures and said that he was absolutely cured” – added the cardinal.
Cardinal Barragan said that he had told about this situation six months later in Vatican. John Paul II answered – “Only our God may do big and wonderful things”. “It shows that John Paul II was very religious and he is worth being called as a saint person. I can prove that without any doubts” –said cardinal Barragan.
