Wrocław with magnificent Christmas fair
The capital of Lower Silesia can be proud because of outstanding Christmas fair that can be visited in the middle of the market square of the city. This tradition is connected with history of the city, which sometimes owned to Germany. As a result of the history, some German traditions are still cultivated. The Christmas fair is the best example. Citizens of Wrocław may admire fantastic wooden building reminding city taken from fairytales. Everyone may taste traditional Polish dishes like: dumplings with potato and cottage cheese, chopped cabbage with meat or pork hock. On the other hand there can also be found traditional German poppyseed or apple loafs, sausages with cabbage or mulled wine. Children may have fun playing with roundabouts and admiring their heroes from popular fairytales, like Snow White. They have change to taste delicious titbits prepared by the greatest bakers and pastry cooks. Oldest visitors can try fantastic Polish and German beers and buy Christmas gifts for their families. Music concerts, interesting shows and superb contests make this event very exciting entertainment for everyone.
