Polish citizens do not economize on culture. They spend a lot of money on music concerts of Polish and foreign stars, cinema or theatre tickets.

The best example proving above statement could be seen in October and November. All tickets (quite expensive) for Marylyn Manson, Alice in Chains, Cassandra Wilson, Gossip or Rammstein were being sold like hot cakes. One ticket for Alice in Chain in StodoĊ‚a Club in Warsaw cost even 500 zloty (120 euro). What is interesting, it was very hard to buy them on the black market.

Also Rammsein’s concert that took place on the 27th of November in Katowice aroused people’s interest. However “Spodek” (one of biggest Polish concert halls) may hold 10 thousand people, the tickets were sold one moths before the concert.

Polish cinematography experiences an economic boom. Boxoffice.pl informed that Polish cinemas had been visited by 19.8 million people (332 million PLN - 81 million euro income).
