According to "Dziennik Polski" Cracow's hotel base is worth over 1 billion Euro. Six years ago Cracow had no 5 stars hotels, now it has eight and the ninth is under construction. The rest of the country has just 26 places of such standard.

From 1745 hotels (of all categories) in Poland 123 are located in Cracow. The old capital city of Poland is indisputably still the capital of tourism and its hotel infrastructure is worth a lot.

However the value of it is still going to increase, as Cracow becomes more and more popular among tourists as well as due to the fact that the standard of the infrastructure is improving.

Not so long ago 3, 2, 1 star hotels contributed to 30 per cent of all accommodation in Cracow. However now mostly high standard places are built.

At the moment 11 hotels are under construction including seven 4 star hotels and a 5 star one.
