Poles are afraid of inflation more than of unemployment
More than 50 % of Poles are afraid of increase of price increase, while only 5 % of us are afraid of losing our jobs. 8 % of respondents said that they would be afraid of lower salaries, while only 5% could have problems with paying their mortgage instalments – says the newest survey of IQS Group for “Puls Biznesu”. 30 % of us are not interested in those problems. It shows that Poles are more optimistic than other nations of the European Union. 54 % of Europeans say that the worst period of worldwide economic crisis is ahead of us. In Poland only 42 % of entire nation think that the crisis will be more intensive. 38 % of European people are sure that the crisis in job market will not be worse than today. Poles are not so optimistic, because as many as 44 % declare that the crisis will touch our job market very soon. But on the other hand, 34 % think that Polish economic situation is good (23 % in the European Union) and 62 % said that our economic condition is absolutely bad(75 % in the European Union) .
