The government plane with a group of Polish rescuers, who have been giving aid to the victims of the earthquake on Haiti for seven days, has landed on the Warsaw military airport.

54 rescuers with 10 dogs from the Heavy Search-and-Rescue Group of the National Fire Brigade have been searching for living people under the rubble, giving aid to the wounded and injured for a week.

The rescuers took 4 tons of specialist equipment with them on Haiti - geophones, specular and thermovision cameras and also mechanical and hydraulic equipment to take the victims out of the rubble.
