Lech Kaczyński, as the President elect, commanded ABW (Agency of Internal Security - Agencja Bezpieczeństwa Wewnetrznego) Chief of Staff to collect information about me and to tap my phone – claims former Prime Minister. This is another Kazimierz Marcinkiewicz’s accusation. Few months ago he suggested that had been subjected to surveillance when he was Prime Minister.
Kazimierz Marcinkiewicz claims that in December 2005 Lech Kaczyński commissioned Witold Marczuk, the Chief of Staff in ABW to collect information about him but he disagreed with this. Why he knows about this? – I heared about this from three independent sources: from politician, from middle level services official and indirectly also from Marczuk – he said. He also saw Marczuk’s note about this conversation. According to the opinion of Marcinkiewicz, President wanted his brother Jarosław Kaczyński to became Prime Minister, that is why he did all this. And later both brothers - claims former Prime Minister – complained about Marczuk but Marcinkiewicz did not give a permission to change ABW Chief of Staff (he left after Prime Minister had changed).
