Every third Polish worker smokes and in some branches every second. Hardly ever they can be helped by the employer in breaking with a bad habit. Also not many companies make problem out of smoking at work.

Almost every fifth Pole go for a cigarette at least ten times during his work. Every second employee makes breaks for cigarette, as it results from the latest survey which the web portal "Wirtualna Polska" conducted among 369 net surfers. Admittedly, the experts from National Centre for Health Promotion estimate that there is fewer smokers because more or less 30%, however in some branches (for example Media) the amout is much bigger.

If we make assumption that smoking of one cigarette takes 10 minutes, then the record-breakers spend on smoking almost one and a half hour a day. And sometimes even longer because in some companies there is no time-limit for breaks.
