The police stopped, after taking up chase, a car in which 13 people of unknown nationality but from Asia were transported. They had only one Vietnamese passport. The driver escaped and is wanted.

The incident took place at thursady evening in Augustow (Podlaskie Voivodeship). The police officers from a road patrol wanted to stop for check an off-road car - Dodge with Polish registration board.

When the man noticed the patrol he accelerated and turned into a side-road. According to the spokesman of the police, the chased car was driving at the speed of 150 km/h and its driver tried to lose the police patrol dodging through the streets. After several minutes he drove into a dead-end-street separated with metal poles. Then the man jumped out of his car and run to the nearest forest.

It turned out that in the car were 13 people, 12 men and a woman. They were Asian at the age between 20-30 but only one of them had a passport and it was a Vietnamese document. They spent the night in the police arrest. They were feeded up. As DobrzyƄski added, on friday with help of a translator the police will try to communicate with the detained people because none of them speak Polish, Russian, German or English.
